Hello! I'm originally from Cardiff but have been living in Merthyr since 2002. I live with my partner of 25 years, our 2 adult children and our dog. I was born in the 80s and spent my formative years in the 90s - where my mind mostly remains! The nostalgia for the 90s, and indeed being a teenager, is a never ending story! 

I love music and have a large range of genres i'm sure you'll get to hear on lessons! I enjoy film & TV; mostly fantasy, sci fi & crime but i'm not adverse to a rom com on times! I can be a bit of a nerd too; jigsaw puzzles, Comic Cons, sudoku. I also take part in a pub quiz monthly.  

I've been a pharmacy technician, foster carer and funeral arranger in my life. All of which require patience, empathy & good people skills. As an ADI (DVSA Approved Driving Instructor) it makes me so happy when my students relax and start to enjoy themselves - a calm environment is far more productive than a stressful one! 

I'm probably too laid back but as I always tell my students "You're not allowed to panic unless i'm panicking. If i'm panicking then we're definitely doomed!" No doom yet!

I hated learning to drive when I was a teenager. I have chronic test nerves and I totally understand the anxiety my students have with lessons and the driving test. If I can make that easier in any way for them then i'm winning :-)
